Never miss a call again with our easy to use Call Waiting feature. Avia phone allows you to accept an incoming call while you are already on the phone. Simply put your first call on hold while you answer the second incoming call.

While you are on the phone and a second call comes in, a beep tone alerts you of an incoming call. The caller ID of the second caller is also displayed if you are using a Caller ID enabled phone or device. If you wish to answer the call, simply press the Flash button or Switch hook to put the first caller on hold while you answer the second call. You can easily switch back and forth between the calls as often as you like.

With Avia phone you also have the option to disable Call Waiting if you wish, either permanently or on a per call basis.

You can permanently disable Call Waiting for all your calls with our *57 feature code. We won't notify you of any waiting calls as long as it is disabled.

Pick up your handset.

Wait for a dial tone and simply dial *57.

Listen for a dial tone and dial the number you wish to call.

To reactivate the Call Waiting feature just dial *56 before placing a call.

You also have the option to disable Call Waiting for a single call. Just dial our *70 feature code before your call and you will not receive waiting calls for the duration of your call. Call Waiting will automatically reactivate once the call ends.

Pick up your handset.

Wait for a dial tone and simply dial *70.

Listen for a dial tone and dial. When you are done, hang up or continue to dial a number you wish to call.

To enable per call you will need to dial *71 before dialing your number.
